  પ્રસ્તાવના 

  
  

  • આ વિભાગના તારીખ ૨૭/૦૪/૨૦૧૧ ના વંચાણે લીધા ક્રમાંક (૧) હેઠળના ઠરાવથી ગુજરાત રાજ્યની પ્રાથમિક શાળાઓમાં વિદ્યાસહાયક શિક્ષકની ભરતી માટે શિક્ષક યોગ્યતા કસોટી (TET) લેવાનું હરાવેલ છે. આ ઠરાવમાં રાજ્યની પ્રાથમિક શાળાઓમાં વિદ્યાસહાયક શિક્ષક તરીકે નિમણુંક મેળવવા ઇચ્છતા ઉમેદવારોએ TET-1 (ધોરણ ૧ થી ૫ માટે) અને TET-2 (ધોરણ ૬ થી ૮ માટે) ફરજીયાત પાસ કરવાની રહેશે. તેમજ TET-1 અને TET-2 નું પ્રમાણપત્ર ૫ વર્ષ સુધી માન્ય રહેશે તેવી જોગવાઇ કરવામાં આવેલ હતી. ત્યારબાદ આ વિભાગના તારીખ ૦૬/૦૬/૨૦૧૩ ના વંચાણે લીધા ક્રમાંક (૨) હેઠળના ઠરાવથી તા. ૨૭/૦૪/૨૦૧૧ના ઠરાવના ફકરા નં. ૫ માં નીચે મુજબ સુધારો કરવામાં આવેલ હતો.
  • શિક્ષક યોગ્યતા કસોટીના પ્રમાણપત્રની માન્યતા અવધિ પાંચ વર્ષની રહેશે, પરંતુ આ કસોટી આપવા માટે પ્રયત્નોની સંખ્યા નિયત કરવામાં આવતી નથી. ગમે તેટલા પ્રયત્નો આ કસોટી આપવા માટે માન્ય રહેશે. એક વખત શિક્ષક યોગ્યતા કસોટી આપી દીધા પછી કોઇપણ ઉમેદવાર પોતાની ગુણાત્મક સુધારણા અને સારા મેરીટ માટે એક કરતા વધુ વખત પરીક્ષા આપી શકશે અને તેવી સ્થિતિમાં ઉમેદવાર શિક્ષકની ભરતી માટે ટેટની પરીક્ષા પાસ કર્યાનું જે પ્રમાણપત્ર રજૂ કરશે તે ધ્યાનમાં લેવામાં આવશે. ઉમેદવાર ઇચ્છે તો શિક્ષક યોગ્યતા કસોટી પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષક માટે તેમજ ઉચ્ચ પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષક બંને માટે આપી શકશે."
  • પાછળ તાજેતરમાં Natlonal Council of Teachers Education (NCTE) દ્વારા તારીખ ૦૯/૦૬/૨૦૨૧ ના વંચાણે લીધા ક્રાંક (૩) હેઠળના પત્રથી શિક્ષક યોગ્યતા કસોટી (TET) ના ક્વોલિફાઇંગ પ્રમાણપત્રની માન્યતા ૭ વર્ષથી વધારી આજીવન કરવામાં આવેલ છે. આ સુધારા અનુસંધાને નિયામકશ્રી, પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષણની કચેરી દ્વારા વંચાણે લીધેલ ક્રમાંક (૪) હેઠળના તારીખ ૧૦/૦૬/૨૦૨૧ ના પત્રથી TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) પ્રમાણપત્રની મુદત વધારવા અંગે દરખાસ્ત કરેલ હતી, જે અન્વયે TET (૧ & ૨) ના પ્રમાણપત્રની માન્યતા અવધિમાં વધારો કરવાની બાબત સરકારશ્રીની વિચારણા હેઠળ હતી.

  
  

  • ઠરાવ :

  પુખ્ત વિચારણાને અંતે, આ વિભાગના તારીખ ૦૬/૦૬/૨૦૧૩ના ઠરાવના ક્રમાંક ૩ થી નક્કી થયેલ જોગવાઇમાં નીચે મુજબ સુધારો કરવામાં આવે છે.

  
  

  “શિક્ષક યોગ્યતા કસોટીના પ્રમાણપત્રની માન્યતા સષ્ટ્રીય શિક્ષણ નીતિ-૨૦૧૦ માં સૂચવ્યા મુજબ શિક્ષક યોગ્યતા કસોટીના નવા નિયમો અમલમાં આવે ત્યાં સુધી રહેશે. આ કસોટી આપવા માટે પ્રયત્નોની સંખ્યા નિયત કરવામાં આવેલ નથી. ગમે તેટલા પ્રયત્નો આ કસોટી આપવા માટે માન્ય રહેશે. એક વખત શિક્ષક યોગ્યતા કસોટી આપી દીધા પછી, પણ કોઇ પણ ઉમેદવાર પોતાની ગુણાત્મક સુધારણા અને સારા મેરીટ માટે એક કરતા વધુ વખત પરીક્ષા આપી શકશે અને તેવી સ્થિતિમાં ઉમેદવાર વિદ્યાસહાયક શિક્ષકની ભરતીમાં ઉમેદવારી નોંધાવતી વખતે ટેટની પરીક્ષા પાસ કર્યાનું જે પ્રમાણપત્ર રજૂ કરશે તે જ ધ્યાનમાં લેવામાં આવશે. ઉમેદવાર ઇચ્છે તે શિક્ષક યોગ્યતા કસોટી પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષક અને ઉચ્ચ પ્રાથમિક શિક્ષક બંને માટે આપી શકશે.

  
  

  જે ઉમેદવારોએ અગાઉ શિક્ષક યોગ્યતા કસોટી TET (૧ & ર) પાસ કરેલ છે અને તેમના પ્રમાણપત્રમાં આ વિભાગના તારીખ ૨૭/૦૪/૨૦૧૧ અને તારીખ ૦૬/૦૬/૨૦૧૩ના ઠરાવ મુજબ શિક્ષક યોગ્યતા કસોટીના પ્રમાણપત્રની માન્યતા અવધિ ૫ વર્ષની સુધીની રાખેલ છે તેવા ઉમેદવારોના કિસ્સામાં પણ આ ઠરાવની જોગવાઇ સમાન રીતે લાગુ પડશે. જે ઉમેદવારોના પ્રમાણપત્રની પાંચ વર્ષની મુદ્દત પૂર્ણ થઇ ગયેલ હોય તેવા ઉમેદવારોના કિસ્સામાં રાજ્ય પરીક્ષા બોર્ડ દ્વારા પ્રમાણપત્ર માન્ય કરવાનું નવેસરથી પ્રમાણપત્ર ફાળવવાનું રહેશે નહીં.”

• By Resolution No. (1) read by this Department dated 27/04/2011, the conduct of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for the recruitment of Assistant Teachers in the Primary Schools of Gujarat State has been defeated. In this resolution, candidates seeking appointment as teaching assistant teachers in state primary schools will have to pass TET-1 (for standard 1 to 5) and TET-2 (for standard 6 to 8) compulsorily. It was also provided that the certificate of TET-1 and TET-2 will be valid for 5 years. Thereafter, by the resolution read under number (2) dated 06/06/2013 of this section. 27/04/2011 Resolution Paragraph No. 5 was amended as follows.

  The validity period of the Teacher Eligibility Test certificate will be five years, but the number of attempts to give this test is not fixed. Any number of attempts will be allowed to take this test. Once the Teacher Eligibility Test has been given, any candidate can take the examination more than once for his qualitative improvement and good merit and in such case the certificate of passing the TET examination will be considered for the recruitment of the candidate. Candidates can give teacher aptitude test both for primary teacher as well as for upper primary teacher if they want."

  Recently, the National Council of Teachers Education (NCTE) vide letter dated 09/06/2021 under the crank (3) has extended the validity of the qualifying certificate of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) from 7 years to lifetime. Pursuant to this amendment, a proposal was made by the Director, Office of Primary Education vide letter dated 10/06/2021 under number (4) to extend the validity of the TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) certificate, according to which the validity period of the certificate of TET (1 & 2) The issue of increase was under the consideration of the government.
